This where we will write our comments about the books that the teachers are reveiwing for the library.
LET'S GET STARTED>>>>
Mrs Gulati has read 'The Silver Donkey'by Sonya Hartnett. She had this to say...
This is an interesting story of two very kind hearted girls, who looked after a stranger in the forest, in the best possible way. The stranger, in return, told them marvellous tales about a token he carried with him.
This novel carries some very important messages and is fun to read.

HOT CHOCOLATE BOOK CLUB
The book we are reading is "The Lion, the WItch and the Wardrobe" by C.S Lewis. The Hot Chocs are from Room 7 and we meet in the library once a week, drink hot chocolate (YUM!) and talk about what we have read. Miss Woodward and Miss Freeman come along as well. (we all love reading and chocolate!!).
A reading strategy we used last week was to use post-it notes to help us clarify unknown words and parts of the story we didn't quite understand. This worked well and we all learnt some new words.
